At our last meeting for this year, we will welcome Chris Broom to give a presentation about Humour in Genealogy. A light-hearted walk through a variety of genealogical records, reinforcing the value of scrutinising original documents. Chris is a graduate of the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies, Canterbury, where he has recently been appointed as a course tutor. We have previously enjoyed an excellent talk given by Chris and this topic will give us a very enjoyable end to 2023.
