Ansley is a village and civil parish in the North Warwickshire district of Warwickshire, England. The parish includes the village of Ansley, Ansley Common, Church End, Ansley Hall, Birchley Heath, and formerly Ansley Hall Colliery. The village is near Arley and Astley. The parish church of St Laurence is Norman in origin and lies outside the main village at Church End. It is a Grade II* listed building.

Bulkington is a large village and former civil parish in the Nuneaton and Bedworth district of Warwickshire, England. In the 2011 census the ward had a population of 6,146 and 6,303 in the 2001 census. It is located around 6 miles (10 km) northeast of Coventry, just east of the towns of Nuneaton and Bedworth and 5 miles (8 km) southwest of Hinckley. Despite historically having stronger links with Bedworth, Bulkington forms part of the Nuneaton Urban Area. Bulkington was mentioned in the Domesday Book as Bochintone, meaning "estate associated with a man called Bulca". The parish originally contained seven hamlets, two of which were subsumed by Bulkington village following residential building expansion which began in the 1930s. Historically the main industry in Bulkington was ribbon weaving. Today Bulkington is largely a commuter village for larger nearby urban centres such as Coventry, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Hinckley and Leicester. Bulkington has connections with the locally born author George Eliot (Mary Ann Evans), who knew the village well. She is thought to have referred to it as Raveloe in her book Silas Marner (1861). The church of St James is where George Eliot's uncle and aunt are buried.

The manor house, Caldecote Hall, was the home of Parliamentarian Colonel William Purefoy during the English Civil War and was damaged by Royalist siege by Prince Rupert in 1642. In the 18th century it was owned by Nathan Wright. The Hall was rebuilt in brick in 1880, for Henry Leigh Townshend, who was High Sheriff of Warwickshire in 1901. In 1924, the Hall was bought by the Church of England Temperance Society, for use as a retreat. In the 1950s, it was the home of St Chad's School but suffered financial problems and a severe fire in 1955. In 2005 it was restored and converted to private flats.

Chilvers Coton is an area of the town of Nuneaton in Warwickshire, England, around one mile south of the town centre. Chilvers Coton was historically a village and civil parish in its own right and was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 as “Celverdestoche,”. The author Mary Ann Evans (better known as George Eliot) lived at Griff House in the parish between 1820 and 1841. Chilvers Coton was the inspiration for the fictional village of Shepperton in Eliot's novel Scenes of Clerical Life. Like neighbouring Nuneaton, Chilvers Coton historically was a centre for the weaving and coal mining industries

It lies on the north-western tip of Warwickshire, divided from Leicestershire by a small stream and by the River Anker. Also, Grendon has since enlarged and is currently at a population of circa 1000.

Kingsbury is a large village and civil parish in the North Warwickshire district of the county of Warwickshire, in the West Midlands region of England. The civil parish population at the 2011 census was 7,652. The village is situated between Birmingham and Tamworth, which is 6 miles (10 km) to the north, and overlooks the River Tame. The A51 to Chester starts from here; as does the A4097, which runs through Curdworth and Minworth before joining the A38. This continues to Junction 6 of the M6 (Spaghetti Junction) giving access to the motorway network of the Midlands and the City of Birmingham. Kingsbury is notable for the Kingsbury Water Park, a shooting range and a large oil storage depot to the north-east.
