** CWGC page says his father was J T Mallabone of Rowley’s Green, Coventry. Looking on the census returns, I cannot find him with Thomas and Mary Mallabone or with John T Mallabone – I suspect this is incorrect. However, he does appear on the Chilvers coton boys school list.
