These indices are created from NNWFHS transcriptions which include all of what was written in each register. Addition information like a gap in dates, entries lifted from Bishops Transcripts because a register was deficient or missing completely and those tantalising cryptic notes sometimes added in a different hand. All are noted in our full transcriptions.
The full transcriptions include everything in the register and some come with added transcriber comments or local knowledge. These full entries are available to our members, or can be purchased at our online shop.
