War Memorials – Nuneaton St Nicolas’

The parish of Nuneaton includes Attleborough and Stockingford, Galley Common and Griff Colliery.

The NNWFHS website lists fifteen places in Nuneaton where there are war memorials commemorating all those who sacrificed their lives for their country.

There are memorial plaques, crosses, monuments and rolls of honour in many places in Nuneaton: St Nicolas church, Abbey Church of St Mary, United Reformed church, Vicarage Street School, Abbey Street School, Colliery Employees, General Post Office, King Edward VI Grammar School, Manor Court Baptist Church, Queen’s Road School and three in Riversley Park.
