War Memorials – Shustoke

The Shustoke memorial is the clock on the tower which was installed in 1921 in memory of those from the parish who fell during the Great War. Eighteen Shustoke men died and the inscription on a stone nearby reads as follows:

To the Glory of God and in Ever Grateful Memory of the Following  Who Laid

Down Their Lives in

The Great War 1914 – 1919

The eighteen men are commemorated on a brass memorial and a Roll of Honour inside the church. One man who died in WWII is also remembered.
