A memorial clock was erected by the people of Warton in memory of the five men who lost their lives in WWI. The inscription reads as follows:

Two men who died in WWII are also remembered. The inscription reads as follows:
Greater love hath no man than this,
that a man lay down his life for his friends St John XV 13.
