1901 Census, living at Water Lane the Fields, Baddesley Ensor, Atherstone, with his parents and sister Edith.

1911 Census, living at Tramway Cottage, Birchmoor, Polesworth with his father Charles and sister Edith. He was employed as Colliery Labourer, Bank. His father was a Farm Labourer.

1917 Tamworth Herald on 25th August, published notification on his death, “Mr. and Mrs. C. Nash, 6 Bridge Street, Polesworth, have been notified that their son, 32913 Corpl. W. F. Nash, Oxford and Bucks L.I., wjo was reported wounded and missing on October 7 1916, is now presumed to have been killed on that date, or died since. Corpl. Nash was 22 years of age, and formerly was employed at Hall End Colliery.”
