  Sadly Horace was originally reported missing on the day of his death prompting an appeal by his parents for his whereabouts which appeared in the Tamworth Herald on 3rd March 1917. On the 5th January 1918 the Tamworth Herald reported that he was now known to have died on 18 November 1916.
