Ansty church war memorial plaque reads as follows:
| To the Glory of God and in Loving Memory of Major George Stopford Adams 1st Battalion Lancashire Fusiliers, son of Lt General Cadwallader Adams C.B He served in the South African War 1901-2 In Gallipoli on 25th April 1915 He landed on Beach W Lancashire Landing and was killed in action 11th May 1915 aged 42 A tribute from the Colonel in Chief of his Regt I know that in his case the V.C. was thoroughly deserved. |

In 2012, Ansty erected a war memorial which is a plain black obelisk and the inscription reads as follows:
In memory of the six airmen of EFTS Ansty Aerodrome who died over Ansty in WWII. Rest in peace at Ansty Church.
