War Memorials – Griff Colliery

The Griff Colliery memorial is at the Griff and Coton Sports and Social Club, Heath End Road, Nuneaton. When this war memorial project was first undertaken, our volunteer discovered that the K-Z panel of names was missing at that time.

This memorial is a problem. Names after JOHNSON have just a first initial so it is almost impossible to determine the correct man. The Excel sheets reflect this and so are incomplete.
