War Memorials – Stockingford Council School

The old Stockingford Council School is now the Stockingford Primary School and the memorial inside the school commemorates teachers and pupils who died. The inscription reads as follows:

Stockingford Council School
Teachers and Old Scholars
Who Lost Their Lives in the
Great War. 1914 to 1918

The memorial was erected in 1920 and the dedication plaque reads:

In Honoured Memory
And Grateful Recognition
Erected by the Teachers and
Past and Present Scholars
March 1920
